When do you anticipate opening?

Anchored Oak is actively underway in the building and development process. While an opening date has not been set, we are just as excited as you are about bringing this exciting farm adventure to Travelers Rest! Stay tuned - a date will be announced as we get closer to completion!

What kind of livestock do you showcase at Anchored Oak Adventure Farm?

Our petting zoo features a variety of livestock including pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, turkeys and goats with cows, donkeys, sheep and ponies to come!

Do you offer any agricultural education programs or tours?

It's what we do best! AO is home to a one-room-schoolhouse offering k-12 education that combines life on the farm with a traditional core class curriculum. We also provide field trip opportunities, summer camps, farm tours, animal encounters, & a wide variety of workshops.

Do you have volunteer opportunities?

Many hands make light work! Helping out with daily operations on the farm will be open to adult & children volunteers, ages 7+ (children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). We are currently looking for adult volunteers who are interested in helping with the building process of animal enclosures and fencing needs. If interested, email Admin@AnchoredOakFarm.com.

What is the history of Anchored Oak Adventure Farm?

Anchored Oak Adventure Farm is a ground-up operation started by the Jackson family in 2023 as a first generation agritourism destination. From the raw land, the Jackson family saw an opportunity to teach and share with families about the tranquilty, knowledge, adventure and FUN that can be gained through a day on the farm with animals and in nature!
